Hello Lovelies,

I don't know about you but I am always on the hunt for ways of saving money on beauty products.
I've recently come across a newspaper article about cheap and all natural ways to care for your skin and thought I'd share them with you, my lovely readers.

For Normal/combination skin:

1. Milk and honey cleanser:

1/3 cup of honey.
1/3 cup buttermilk.
3 tsp rose water.        Place the ingredients in a closed container and shake well. Apply a small amount to your face, then rinse off or remove with cotton wool.

2. Honey and apple toner:

1 tbsp honey.
1 apple peeled and cored.   Purée the two ingredients in a blender and smooth on to face. Leave for 15 minutes before rinsing off.

3. Strawberry Moisturiser:

1 tbsp olive oil.
1 tbsp coconut oil.
1 tbsp vegetable oil.
2 tbsp mashed strawberries.  Mix the three oils together in a small bowl, then stir in the strawberries. Apply sparingly to face.

For Sensitive Skin:

4. Honey face mask:

4-5 tbsp honey.  Simply warm the honey then apply generously over your face. Leave for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.

5. Cucumber and yoghurt moisturiser:

1/2 cucumber peeled and sliced.
1 tbsp yoghurt.                          Puree the cucumber in a blender and add the yoghurt. Apply to face and leave for 20 minutes. Remove with a damp face cloth.

For Dry Skin:

6. Avocado and honey face mask:

1/2 avocado (or 2 tsp avocado oil)
1/4 cup honey.                             Mash the two ingredients together. Apply to skin and leave for 5-10 minutes. Remove with a wash cloth drenched in cool water.

7. Cucumber mask:

1 tbsp plain yoghurt.
1 tbsp cucumber.
1 tbsp parsley.          Chop the cucumber finely and mix with the yoghurt and parsley until smooth. Cover face with this creamy mask. Leave on for 15-20 minutes, rinse with water.

For Oily Skin:

8. Egg white face mask:

1 egg white.
6 drops witch hazel.
6 drops lemon juice.     Whisk egg white until stiff then add the other ingredients. Apply to face and leave to dry for 15 minutes. Rinse well.

(If you of course are allergic to any of these ingredients then DO NOT use them and use one that is suitable)

I hope you will try some of these and let me know if they are any good for you. I sure will be trying them out.

Mwaaaaah Becca xoxo
