BakerDays Review

12:04

I was approached on twitter by the lovely Andrea from BakerDays asking if i would like to review one of their cakes. CAKE?? did someone say cake? So of course I didn't decline. I got to choose what design I wanted on the cake, there's loads to choose from, whether you want a personal photo or just a simple quote they can do it.
Being the shopaholic I am I chose to have the quote 'If i wasn't meant to have the shoes..then why did they have them in my size?!'

I was emailed to say when my cake was being posted and trust me next day it was here, BakerDays do promise next day delivery if you order before 2 pm that day.
The cake I was sent was the letterbox cake which fits nicely through the letterbox (hence the name), this cake is meant to give 3-4 portions, I however managed to squeeze 8 portions out of it so my family could try some oh and the postman. I absolutely love the fact that the cake came in a cute tin with some candles and balloons (cute right?)
There are 6 cake recipes to choose from , mine was a surprise and I got chocolate (ofc a girls favuorite). I absolutely loved the cake and now wish I had eaten the whole thing myself (don't pull that face it was lush okay), normally I find that some chocolate cake can be quite sickly and rich but this one was far from it, just right I thought.

I love the whole concept of BakerDays cakes, why just send a card when you can send a BakerDays cake?
I am most definitely going to be sending a fair few BakerDays cakes to friends and family in the future.

So what are you waiting for send someone you know something a bit more special this birthday, you never know you may get one in return.

All you have to do to be in with the chance of winning is to like bakerdays on facebook and follow them on twitter. I'm afraid this competition is only open to UK residents and will end on the 20th August.
